Become a volunteer volunteer person Fish Emergency Services
I volunteer because people are so grateful and it’s so nice to see little kids happy that they’re taking home some food. When you can help those who are struggling, it’s . . . a good feeling, it really is.”

Volunteer

Volunteer stocking clothing Fish relies upon part-time volunteers, court-appointed community service workers and job trainees from various organizations each month.

Youth, ages 12 and older, as well as adults, can assist Fish in managing the clothing room, stocking and bagging donated food, work in the reception area and go with drivers to help pick up donations. There’s even a need for weeding and landscaping help around the property. All that’s required of younger volunteers is a great attitude and a parent’s permission slip.

The Fish staff consists of four paid employees and is helped by volunteers. Fish has a 16-member Board of Directors, elected to three-year terms.
